Company Growth: 14 Years of Focus, Laying a Solid Professional Foundation

Guangdong Guhe New Materials Co., Ltd., formerly known as Guangdong Shunde Yugu Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., was officially established in 2013. It is one of China’s early companies specializing in the R&D and production of silicone sealants. To meet growing market demand, the company relocated in 2021 to Sanjiang Town, Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, where we invested in building a modern silicone sealant production base. The facility covers an area of over 30 mu (approx. 20,000 sqm) with a floor area of 6,000 sqm, and includes office buildings, a filling workshop, a compounding workshop, a professional laboratory, and other fully functional areas. Over the past 14 years, we have remained focused on the silicone sealant sector, growing from a single product to a comprehensive portfolio comprising four brands, two major product series, and over 100 product variants. Our service network now covers more than 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China.

Compounding Workshop: The Core Production Unit That Controls Quality at Source

The compounding workshop is the heart of our factory – it directly determines product quality, performance, and production efficiency. It carries out the entire critical process from raw material mixing to finished sealant output.

The workshop follows a standardized production process: first, raw materials such as 107 silicone rubber, silica, and calcium carbonate are precisely weighed according to the formula and fed into specialized equipment for mixing and dispersion, then dehydrated under high temperature and vacuum to produce a base compound; next, the base compound is mixed with crosslinkers, catalysts, and other additives, with vacuum degassing throughout the process, to produce different types of finished sealants. The workshop is divided into functional zones – raw material metering, base compound preparation, finished sealant compounding, hydraulic discharge, in-process quality inspection, and central control – ensuring smooth and efficient coordination between all production stages.

In terms of production control, we have established a full-process quality management system covering raw material inbound inspection, precise formula control, online testing of intermediate and finished products, and a batch traceability mechanism. For flammable, explosive, and toxic/hazardous materials involved in production, we strictly implement dust control, VOCs exhaust gas treatment, fire safety, and occupational health management standards. The workshop also coordinates production planning, personnel and equipment management, and material consumption control, working closely with upstream and downstream units such as the raw material warehouse, filling workshop, and quality inspection department to ensure stable and efficient operation of the entire production system.

Technical Laboratory: The Dual Core of R&D and Quality Control, Empowering Product Competitiveness

The laboratory serves as both the quality control hub and the technical R&D engine of the factory, covering the entire product lifecycle. It is a key department that ensures product quality and enhances the company’s core competitiveness. Its functions encompass three main dimensions:

  • Full-process quality control: Perform batch sampling and inspection on all raw materials including 107 silicone rubber; unqualified raw materials are prohibited from entering production. Monitor in-process parameters such as base compound viscosity and moisture content in real time. Conduct comprehensive testing on each batch of finished products in strict accordance with national standards; products are only released after passing all tests. Also handle customer quality complaints, trace root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • R&D and innovation: Follow market demand to develop high-performance products such as fire-retardant sealants and photovoltaic (solar) sealants; optimize formulations to reduce costs while maintaining product performance; continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency and stability; simultaneously track domestic and international industry standards and cutting-edge technological trends.
  • Comprehensive technical support: Provide solutions to production departments for process challenges, supply product documentation and professional training to the sales team, and offer product selection guidance, application instructions, and customized solutions to customers.

The laboratory is divided into functional sections including sample retention, physical/chemical testing, aging testing, and R&D experimentation, equipped with a full set of professional testing instruments capable of performing key tests on raw material composition, finished product application performance, mechanical properties, and weather/aging resistance.

Filling Workshop: The Standardization Hub That Ensures Delivery Quality

The filling workshop is the final step in silicone sealant production. It undertakes the critical task of converting bulk finished sealant into standardized marketable products, serving as an important link between production and the market, directly affecting product appearance quality and delivery efficiency.

The core process is filling and packaging for multiple specifications: after receiving the finished sealant from the compounding workshop, automated filling, sealing/capping are carried out according to order requirements for various formats such as soft cartridges, hard tubes, and pails; subsequent downstream steps include coding, labeling, cartoning, and case sealing to produce the final saleable product.

The workshop is divided into functional areas including buffer storage, soft-cartridge filling, hard-tube filling, and post-packaging, equipped with fully automatic filling machines, coders, and other professional equipment to ensure standardized and efficient filling operations.
